Archery
This session will include basic knowledge of how to hold a bow, aim and shoot an arrow. Have you got what it takes to become the next robin hood? Outcomes/Purpose of Session: Archery encourages coordination, self awareness, safety and responsibility. Archers learn to maintain focus, avoid distractions whilst improving their skills. During the session the participants will see a real improvement in their accuracy and ability. This session works well in small teams as the participants will encourage each other. This can also be used with groups who require a competitive element by adding in a points system to determine a winner.
Mobile Climbing Wall
Description: Our mobile climbing wall is transported flat on the back of a trailer and erected at the event site. Each participant is fitted with a harness and given brief training. The wall allows four participants to climb at once either by auto belay or manually belayed with a qualified instructor. Outcomes/Purpose of Session: A fun activity which can be taken to various locations adding an extra wow factor to an event. This is a great way of allowing participants to have a taste of climbing and may push others out of their comfort zones.
Team Building
Description: Team building and problem solving challenges are a collection of activities which are used to collaborate a team such as wobbly bridge, human knot, helium stick, spider web and acid river.
Outcomes/Purpose of Session: This activity is to engage and promote team work and social relations within a group of people such as school transitions, corporate or just a fun way to start a session. This session will test your problem solving, leadership and creative skills providing physical and mental challenges.
Description: This is an activity that will teach people how to make shelters out of natural materials like wood and sticks, purify water, forage for edible food like berries, making tools, collecting wood from the surrounding area, learning how to build a fire to cook on and learning basic survival skills. We can add in some navigational skills to locate natural materials in the surrounding area. Outcomes/Purpose of Session: The purpose of this session is to learn how to work as a team to build things like shelters, develop skills such as survival, pushing people out of their comfort zones, using only what you can find around you. Build a shelter to survive the night, a fun activity to bring out the adventurer in you.
