Our program is designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and understanding that pupils require to become active and responsible citizens in society. Through engaging team-building activities, we emphasize the importance of teamwork, effective planning, and execution strategies, as well as the various roles within a team. Our curriculum-linked approach ensures that students not only enhance their citizenship skills but also reinforce key concepts across relevant subject areas.
Our range of adventurous climbing activities caters to all levels, whether you're seeking a thrilling day event or aiming to achieve GCSE qualifications, filming opportunities, or NICAS certifications. Let us tailor your experience to meet your educational goals and provide unforgettable adventures that enhance physical fitness, technical skills, and confidence.
Explore PSHE with Peak! Our activities are carefully crafted to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attributes necessary for their future endeavours. By engaging in challenges within a safe and structured outdoor environment, students learn to overcome obstacles, fostering resilience and self-esteem. Outdoor settings offer invaluable opportunities for enhancing mental health and emotional well-being, providing the ideal space to teach students how to manage their own well-being through connection with the natural world.
we specialise in team building workshops designed to enhance essential skills for effective collaboration. Our programs emphasise the development of listening and communication skills, while fostering respect for others, honing decision-making abilities, and strengthening interpersonal relationships. Through a series of tailored team-building challenges and engaging climbing games, we provide hands-on experiences that promote teamwork and cohesion.
All of our instructors are experienced with SEN students and we welcome all students for our school trips and residentials.
If you require something to be in place more long term we also have our Social Development programme for both mainstream and SEN students who struggle to engage full time in a mainstream education setting to refocus and develop in the great outdoors.
At Peak, inclusivity is at the heart of what we do. We believe that all students, regardless of their abilities or challenges, deserve the opportunity to participate fully. Thats why we meticulously plan and adapt our activities to ensure that every student is included and can thrive in our programs. Our instructors undergo specialised training and boast extensive experience in working with students with special educational needs. Moreover, we are committed to providing development programs specifically tailored for SEND students, focusing on alternative provision education to foster emotional, social, and personal growth.
Audley Climbing Centre is located in the rural village of Audley, a short 5 minute drive from junction 16 of the M6.
We offer multiple climbing walls that have their routes changed frequently so there is always a new challenge to be had.
All of our instructors hold full first aid certification with enhanced DBS checks in place. As well as AHOEC Gold Standard, we also hold the Learning Outside the Classroom Award. We are accredited to deliver NICAS levels 1, 2 & 3.
This ensures that you can be confident in the quality of any session you have with us here at Audley Climbing Centre.
Our activities are specifically designed to support primary, secondary GCSE and A level students on their academic and personal development journey and to meet learning outcomes. Students who join us here at Peak can also work towards a host of additional qualifications such as the NICAS awards.
