ReachOut Arts believe in the positive impact that workshops such as ours can have on young people, their learning and more importantly on their wellbeing. As a result we are working hard to ensure that when now students have returned to full schooling, we can enhance that too by being in a position to return as external providers and making our visits to your setting as safe as possible. The government guidelines are ever changing but we are ensuring that we are adhering to these changes as and when they are required.
Our team find visiting settings extremely rewarding and from feedback received we know that the memories and experiences we can facilitate are incredibly worthwhile.
Please rest assured that once your deposit is paid, should you need to postpone due to government closure or other events related to Covid-19 we will honour your booking on an alternative date.

Curriculum topics available: Shakespeare.
We will briefly touch upon Shakespeare and his impact on the Elizabethans - if you wish to delve into Shakespeare more deeply, you can choose this as an addition to your session.
The Tudors and Elizabethans loved their art - we will discuss how they entertained themselves, including having a go at some role play ourselves - if you choose to you can add a Medieval dance lesson as an option on your workshop.
We offer an add on workshop where your class will enter the royal Tudor court and learn to dance a traditional Tudor routine.
From Henry Tudor through to Queen Elizabeth the 1st we will look at how it would have been to live during that time, both in everyday life and at the Royal court.
The Tudor family is a very important family in English History, what might it have been like to live in that time period? with hands on activities we will take on the roles of peasants or members of the court. With what we like to call our mini Museum on display - this is where the history comes to life - where normally you can't touch items on display with us, you can explore and have a go at using them in the same way the Tudors would have.
Our artefacts cover the Tudors and the Elizabethans, should you wish to have a stronger focus on the Elizabethans we can do that too. Find out what happened whilst Elizabeth I was in charge including the Spanish Armada and the Bubonic Plague.
If you would like a focus on the Kings and Queens of The Tudor Dynasty we can focus on life at court - or you can explore the differences between those who were close to the king and those who remained as peasants. Who was in charge? what did they believe? Who were Henry's Wives? Why did he want a son so badly?
Group sizes will depend on the time frame and space you have available, we are very flexible and can create bespoke programmes for small class sizes right up to a full school approach.

At Primary school some of our fondest memories were when external visitors came into our classroom. We would love to be 'that' memory for the students we work with whilst in your setting. We are delighted to be able to take our workshops to another level by enhancing our already engaging and interactive sessions with a large collection of artefacts and replica items.
Although we do have a framework for our sessions we are always adaptable and very flexible with the delivery and content - allowing us to build a workshop completely suited to your needs and learning outcomes.
