We use team challenges, our ethos of 'challenge by choice' and leadership skills in all of our physical activities. The activities can be physically challenging but all students are supported and encouraged to achieve more than their original targets.
Activities can include: Fun filled camp games, Air Rifles, Tag Archery, Team Challenge Competition, Site Olympics, Orienteering
Other external activities subject to the area (mountain biking, kayaking, climbing etc)
Our exciting Bushcraft sessions and challenges are geared to help you get back to basics whilst also enjoying the natural environment. Using your own school grounds, we teach the fundamentals of pitching a good camp, basic skills of firelighting, shelter building and campfire cooking, Hennessy Hammocks are an overnight option which is a great experience for your pupils. All of our sessions are fun and at the same time educational. Would you survive in the woods?
We do have the capacity to cater for these children, please contact us for further details.
At Cumulus Outdoors we recognise that sometimes, when considering school trips, travelling away from school is just not possible for various reasons. So we have come up with an exciting alternative!
We have been providing fun and exhilarating school residentials for the last six years on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset. We can offer a full tented-village experience or hard-topped residential centre option with a daily activity programme packed with outdoor adventure and learning opportunities. So what happens when schools are unable to travel to these residential experiences?
Well, we come to you! We are flexible, adaptable and accommodating and will transform your school grounds into a mini tented village for the desired duration of the experience. We will bring all tents, equipment, activities and instructors to your school for the complete experience!
