At Outback2basics we deliver Stone Age workshops for schools. We take you on a journey back in time to see how our ancestors lived. We explore the tools they used, how they hunted and the clothes they wore.
Due to the restrictions linked with Covid we are now proud to be able to present you with the opportunity to access our Stone Age workshop, in the safety and comfort of your own classrooms, with a live Zoom session streamed directly to your classroom.
Our session include an entertaining timeline spanning over 3.5 million years, a tour of our artefacts through a day in the life of a caveman and a guided tutorial on cave art with the whole class taking part along with us.
We will allow plenty of time for the children to ask questions throughout so that there is still an element of interaction between us and the children.

10.30- 10.45 Q&A

Covid 19 government regulations and safety requirements have made our workshops un-accessible to many schools. By adapting a digital approach we can be in your classroom Covid safe with no risk at all, making our workshops safe, educational, informative and completely unique. You'll get 2 cavemen dressed in buckskins direct from the Stone Age to teach you all you need to kick start the subject or help you delve deeper into history.
Our sessions are delivered in a way that makes learning about the Stone Age fun, entertaining and relative so the children can really grasp their history. And now our sessions are available online! Straight into your classroom!
Both Dan and Naomi, the founders of Outback2basics have spent time living in the wild. They have many stories to tell of their immersive, wilderness adventures which really help to bring the Stone Age alive.
