Which curriculum topics do we cater for?
Computing
Robotics Coding
The coding of the Tello Edu drones is controlled with the Tello Edu App on an iPad. The coding software is a blocky-based language similar to scratch. They will be practising on the app with a virtual drone before embarking on controlling a live drone.
Physics
Aviation and Flight Forces (KS3/4) Forces and motion (KS3/4)
Within the Drone School workshop, the instructor would go through the details of the Theory of Flight. At the start of this workshop, some of the topics covered are; Forces and Newtons Laws, Friction, Weight and Mass, which are all included within the KS4 Physics GCSE curriculum.
What size groups do we cater for?
Six groups of five students in a class of 30.

Who are TA Education?
TA Education student workshops are a range of learner-focused practical workshops designed to broaden and enrich the curriculum, reward students, challenge the gifted and talented, or engage difficult groups.
Delivered by qualified educators, workshops can be delivered in your classroom, at a local museum or public location. All technology and equipment are included in the price.
Our team can work with you to plan your enrichment day to align with your desired outcomes, plan a timetable and identify content that will be delivered.
