School Trips

Half day, day and residential courses are run from our base near East Grinstead, situated in 125 acres of grass and woodland with a large reservoir and crag less than a kilometre away.
Our venue is within easy reach of the M23 and M25.
Our courses are very popular with schools and colleges.

Activities include:
• Tree Track
• 16 high rope activities
• 2 Zip wires
• 2 artificial climbing and abseiling walls
• Low ropes and archery
• Open canoes, sit-on kayaks, kayaks, katakanus (which are ideal for younger children) and
improvised rafting
• Scrambling and Bushcraft

Accommodation: A wide selection is available from camping (for the truly adventurous), shelters to indoor accommodation.

Team Building Events are one of our specialities. We have over 20 years experience and, with our know how, can plan and design a course to meet your exact requirements.

We also offer our new exciting 'Science Day in the Outdoors' which is a great way for students to learn and retain knowledge.

4th Dimension also offers the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme run by our experienced staff.

Why book 4th Dimension for Residential School Trips and Educational Visits?

Set in a picturesque woodland area, our courses are personalised to suit your requirements. The participants will meet the same staff group during all aspects of their visit, including during mealtimes and recreational time. Groups have their own accommodation, meeting and eating areas which they do not share with groups from other organisations.

What size groups do you cater for?

Our largest groups are around 200 with a minimum of 8.

Do you offer on-site classroom facilities?

Yes, this can be hired and can accommodate 20 children at a time. We can include a classroom time for you that runs alongside our activities.

Is there first aid on site?

Every member of staff holds a 16 hour REC award. Staff take first aid kits to all activities and the course base is equipped with full facilitites.

Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?

All our buildings have disabled access. As this is a woodland based Outdoor Centre it is not always possible to get chairs to the more remote locations. In such cases we have use a 4 x 4 vehicle to enable this. It is important that course leaders discuss any such circumstances with us at the outset.

We are covered by International Passenger Protection.Therefore all your payments are covered for the very unlikely event of our ceasing to trade.
