FSC Centres are all operating in a fully Covid-secure way, following Government guidelines. Find out more on our website.
We are also offering digital and outreach packages as an alternative to visiting.
FSC offers fieldwork and outdoor learning for groups of all ages at locations across the UK.
Due to the government guidance following social distancing we are offering new outreach courses held in the School's grounds to ensure you can still have school trips delivered in a covid-secure way.
These visits will immerse primary school children in the natural world, taking in its sights, sounds and smells.
Pupils will work scientifically and compare plants growing in 2 areas, observing closely and taking measurements. They will use results to draw conclusions. They will observe and name different parts of plants and consider what plants need to grow, and how they reproduce. Pupils can make links between how plants grow, seed production and dispersal and consider how plants are adapted to their environment.
The day will encourage pupils to explore and use their curiosity to find out about the world around them and how better to care for their environment.
Curriculum topics available: Plants.
Pupils will look at plants using scientific skills to compare them.
We can accommodate any group size dependent on availability.
