For over 30 years, sportscotland National Centre Inverclyde has been delivering outstanding residential sport and physical activity programmes to schools and education groups. We specialise in inspirational, impactful sporting experiences for young people and their teachers, encouraging continued participation and a legacy for learning.

Our modern venue has been designed with inclusivity in mind. The centre can accommodate up to 120 wheelchair users at one time, and boasts fully accessible changing spaces, wider corridors and door frames, lip and step free transitions between spaces, four extra large lifts and a range of adapted sports and fitness suite equipment. All of our coaches have completed disability inclusion training, meaning activities can be adapted to ensure the entire group is included.

The centre benefits from 60 spacious twin bedrooms, group dining, with a range of sports facilities on-site, and is located on its own private grounds with stunning views.

Utilising our world class sports facilities coupled with our wider estate, we can provide a wide range of both sporting and outdoor learning opportunities, closely aligned to the curriculum of excellence.

Activities on offer include; a wide range of team and individual sport, both indoor and outdoor, including gymnastics, orienteering, archery and ball sports. Watersports and cycling trips can be added to your visit.

We make use of the centres private grounds for bushcraft, den building and orienteering.

Other features include: fully accessible changing spaces, wider corridors and door frames, lip and step free transitions between spaces, four extra large lifts and a range of adapted sports and fitness suite equipment.
