Our centre offers a home away from home for groups wanting to explore the beautiful Brecon Beacon National Park. The Traditional Welsh Farmhouse is nestled in the hillside near the town of Brecon - offering panoramic views of the dramatic countryside dominated by the peak of Pen-Y-Fan, South Wales highest peak.

We can visit your school in:
Physical Education School TripOur diverse range of activities encourage all core skills involved in PE, such as; Balance, Coordination, Stamina, Problem Solving and Strength. We have activities such as; Climbing, Canoeing, Walking and Gorge Walking (with aided swimming).
Watersports School TripWe offer Canoeing at the centre either on canals or rivers. We can offer a progressive skills programme to suit beginners or more advanced paddlers.
Biology School TripOur outdoor sessions are the perfect opportunity to introduce young people to the natural environment. For KS2 and KS3 students, we are able to deliver the academic content for these courses. For KS4 and above, we can deliver the activities but the teaching element will be delivered by school staff.
Physical Geography School TripOur outdoor sessions are the perfect opportunity to introduce young people to the natural environment. For KS2 and KS3 students, we are able to deliver the academic content for these courses. For KS4 and above, we can deliver the activities but the teaching element will be delivered by school staff.
Fieldstudies School TripOur outdoor sessions are the perfect opportunity to introduce young people to the natural environment. Accommodation OnlyLocated in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales, our centre offers a unique experience for groups who want to escape the hustle and bustle of modern day life. Being in close proximity to a dramatic landscape of rivers, caves and mountains provides the perfect adventure playground to climb, hike, canoe, gorge walk and explore caves. These activities immerse students in new environments and as part of it they learn all about the geography, geology and biology of these areas.
As part of Hampshire Outdoor Centres we have a shared vision with our 3 sister centres to deliver outdoor education programmes which enhance a young persons personal, social and academic development through a journey of challenge, adventure and self-discovery.
