During the day, up to 150 students complete a collaborative digital project, highlighting the importance of digital skills in the world they are growing up in and setting them up to continue the rest of the programme independently or as part of the school curriculum. Teachers learn how to use the resources and by the end of the session have the skills needed to support their students through the rest of the curriculum.

Google’s Applied Digital Skills programme is a free project-based curriculum designed to address the shortage of digital skills in those entering the world of work. It is delivered through engaging videos and ready-to-use templates, all in an easy to use platform. Teachers and key workers support their students in learning valuable digital skills and independently improving their employability.
