Braeside House has over 40 years experience of delivering bespoke learning experiences to schools in Wiltshire and beyond. From start to finish our experienced staff work closely with teachers to identify specific leaning outcomes and create individual programmes focused on both educational and personal development.
Our beautiful house offers cosy, secure dormitory accommodation for up to 90, with social areas, games room, teachers areas and a purpose built dining room. Onsite we can offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities including High and Low Ropes, Zip-wire, Climbing and Abseiling. Offsite the Avon and Kennet Canal is just a few minutes walk where we offer canoeing for all ages and experience levels.

Roundway Down Walk - offers opportunities to explore a woodland nature trail, geology references - chalk and clay, spring lines, Iron Age Settlement, and site of Roman buildings. Maps and compasses are used by pupils to lead the group.
Instructor led activity sessions using low ropes, slack lines, abseiling and zip-wire.
Rowdefield Farm Tours - learn about the farming industry, its relationship with the countryside and the measures being taken on the farm to conserve and enhance wildlife, landscape and historical features.

Yes we have 4 well equipped classrooms with projectors and all the modern facilities needed to deliver effective indoor sessions.
Yes all activity staff are fully first aid trained. We do ask that you bring a qualified first aider with you as well.
