Bullying can be a tricky issue to explore, so we’ve created a drama workshop that helps children learn what bullying is, how it can happen and where to seek support – all delivered through drama, making the session fun, interactive and non-threatening.

A drama workshop is an innovative way of engaging pupils in PSHE subjects, encouraging them to reach their own conclusions about what is fair and right.

What activities are available during this school workshop?

Through specially planned drama activities, children will develop confidence, self-esteem, communication and team work skills which will feed into their work back in class and their attitude towards themselves and others.

Bullying is an important aspect of any PSHE curriculum, and our workshops help schools explore what bullying looks like and the impact it has on people.
The workshops helps children understand what bullying looks like and how to identify it - and how it differs from falling out with a friend.

Drama Workshop

Drama days and workshops are a great way for children to engage with PSHE topics.

Through the use of role-play and performance activities, children are given a chance to empathise with different characters and scenarios, exploring a range of emotions.

What size groups do we cater for?

Altru workshops are for groups of up to 35 children.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Who are Altru?

Altru Drama is a creative education company, established in 2005. We use drama as a tool to build confidence, explore issues, develop personal and social skills, and increase topic understanding. We aim to inspire, create and educate - working with and for young people to help them learn, develop and grow. And we absolutely love what we do!

Our performances are a huge part of what we do, and we work hard to create high quality, engaging performances that are relevant to children and make a big difference to their understanding.

Our Anti-Bullying performances have been touring schools for the last 13 years and offer schools a time efficient way to promote Anti-Bullying messages to the whole school.
