Monster Adventure offer Years of experience in tailoring programmes to meet the needs of your trip, whether that be curriculum-led or just pure fun.
We are a family run business with a team from various backgrounds such as teachers and Instructors.
We can run residentials that incorporate maths, science and history as the main focus of the trip or make it as fun as possible to let your pupils discover a whole new outdoor world. Whatever your needs we will work with you to arrange what would work best for your school.
Our residentials are packed full of exciting activities, games and challenges which give every child the opportunity to show what they can achieve.
Whether you explore the caves or climb mountains in the Yorkshire dales, Canoe in the lake District our experienced instructors will share their passion of the outdoor with your group.

We will work with you to find the right place for your school and group, depending what activities and group size you have we will offer you a few options on where to go.
Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?
Curriculum topics available: Personal development and resilience, Team building.
We can deliver day activities or residentials based on resilience and confidence building where students will try a variety of outdoor activities which will enable them to build they self confidence and resilience. This can be offered on your school grounds or one of our partner venues.
Curriculum topics available: Logic and Problem Solving, Measurement, Ratio and proportion, Shape.
We deliver activity days which are based on team building using maths, we can tailor the curriculum links to the key stage required including GCSE revision team building.
We can provide physical education support for primary schools centreing on coordination and motor skills with activities such as archery and multi sport activities.
We also provide GCSE PE practical assessments in canoeing, archery and walking.
We can deliver programmes of study based on woodland, river and moorland environments.
The Yorkshire dales is a perfect place to find a wide variety of wildlife.
We can provide 2 hour, half day or full day sessions which can include any of the following activities.
Fire lighting, shelter building, bush craft cooking, tracking, natural cordage, plant and animal identification and camp craft.
We can provide activities such as canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and raft building.
Curriculum topics available: Animals including humans, Living things and habitats, Ecology and environment, Minibeasts, Habitats.
We can deliver sessions to KS2, KS3 AND KS4 on habitats, eco systems, plant and animal life, minibeasts and field studies.
We do field studies based on glaciation, looking at landscape formation in both millstone grit and limestone environments.
Curriculum topics available: Water cycles, Rivers, Map and atlas, Environment, Fieldwork.
On our residentials we teach students how to navigate using maps and compass, this is a vital skill for anyone walking in the outdoors.
We have field study packages based on 3 environments, river studies, glaciation and ecosystems.
These can be tailored from key stage 2 to A level.

What size groups do you cater for?
We can cater for all group sizes from 6 pupils to 200.
Do you offer on-site classroom facilities?
All the accommodation we use have communal spaces which can be used as a classroom.
Is there first aid on site?
All our instructors are first aid qualified, we can also provide fully ofqual regulated first aid courses.
Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?
If you require disabled facilities we can discuss the right venue for your group.
Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
yes, we will liase with trip leaders to discuss the requirements for individual students.
We can offer multi activity days on your school grounds for up to 160 pupils per day.
