Our workshops are a great way of bringing the curriculum to life without having the hassle of organising a school trip!
During this workshop, your pupils will have the chance to visit the following places:
- The Taj Mahal in Agra
- Swaminarayan Akshardham Hindu temple in New Delhi
- Traditional Buddhist temple in Kathmandu
- Base camp of Mount Everest
Following on from this workshop, your pupils can write a travel blog all about the different sites that they have visited and learnt about. Our literacy bundles include lesson plans, example texts and LKS2 and UKS2 writing checklists.

What activities are available during this educational workshop?
We cover the following topics using VR:
Rainforests, Space, Egyptians, Mayans, Volcanoes, Wonders of the World, Under the Sea, WW1, Polar Regions, Digestive System, Romans, Stone Age, Mountains, Americas, The Tudors, Vikings, Circulatory System, Africa, Animals, India & Beyond, Journey Across China, The Respiratory System and Around the World.
Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?
Curriculum topics available: Creative writing.
At PrimeVR, we understand how difficult it can be to inspire children with their writing. We aim to create excitement by virtually transporting your class to India! Not only will we provide your class with exciting facts about India and its landmarks but we'll also provide them with an experience to ignite their imagination. Give VR a go and see how it helps with creative writing!
Following on from our workshop, you can download our literacy lesson pack, which encourages children to write about their favourite landmarks across India. Each lesson pack includes an instruction sheet, model text and writing checklist (relevant to LKS2 or UKS2).
What size groups do you cater for?
In line with government guidance, we can deliver a maximum of six workshops throughout the school day with a maximum of 15 pupils in each workshop.
We bring in 16 headsets and each pupil will have their own during the workshop. Each headset will be cleaned thoroughly with anti-bacterial wipes in between each use.
We recommend workshops lasting a maximum of 30 minutes.
Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Yes. We've worked with a number of SEN schools and the response/feedback to VR has been fantastic.
