What activities are available during this educational workshop?

We cover the following topics using VR:

Ancient Maya, The Romans, The Vikings, The Egyptians, The Greeks, The Stone Age, World Wars, Polar Regions, North America, South America, China, Wonders of the World, Around the World, Mount Everest, Africa, Animals, Ocean Explorers, The Rainforest, Volcanoes, Biomes, Space and Climate Change.

Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?

Curriculum topics available: Creative writing.

At PrimeVR, we understand how difficult it can be to inspire children with their writing. We aim to create excitement by virtually transporting your class across China to see a variety of different landmarks and natural beauty. Not only will we provide your class with exciting facts about each place that we visit but we'll also provide them with an experience to ignite their imagination. Give VR a go and see how it helps with creative writing!

Curriculum topics available: Map and atlas, Mountains, Environment, Climate zones and biomes , Wonders of the World.

During this PrimeVR workshop, pupils will be transported across China where they'll be able to see famous landmarks in 360°. Hover over the Shanghai skyline and fly over the Great Wall of China from the comfort of your classroom. This PrimeVR workshop is a great way of bringing your China topic to life!

Curriculum topics available: Ancient China, The Shang Dynasty.

During this workshop, your class will have the chance to visit The Great Wall of China built by the Ming Dynasty, the Forbidden City used by the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the see the Terracotta Army built as part of a huge burial chamber for the first emperor of China.

Curriculum topics available: Travel and Tourism.

Imagine taking your class on a virtual field trip to China from the comfort of your classroom. Experience the popular tourist sites across the country, from the Great Wall of China to the Forbidden City in Beijing and the breathtaking site of the Terracotta Army! This workshop is an amazing opportunity to experience China's tourism on a much smaller budget!

What size groups do you cater for?

We can deliver up to six workshops throughout the school day with a maximum of 32 pupils in each workshop.

We bring in 16 headsets and pupils will share one between two during workshops.

We recommend workshops lasting approximately 30-45 minutes.

Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Yes. We've worked with a number of SEN schools and the response/feedback to VR has been fantastic.
